Our last stop before heading back to base at Lavrion. It was also our first stop almost 3 weeks ago and where we had problems finding a parking space. We had several options if there was no room on the quay, go to the main port Korissia or anchor off (several places to do this). As it happened when we arrived there was plenty of space and no wind so it transpired to be an easy park.
The journey over was also uneventful, no wind so we motored all the way, nonetheless a very pleasant day on the sea.
As we probably mentioned before Vourkari is a favored spot for the well heeled from Athens hoi so it is a bit more up market, chic and expensive, but a very pleasant spot to park up for the night.
Once we’d arrived we enjoyed a cappuccino freddo with our chums from Joy, followed by a walk along the bay to look for a taverna for dinner. We chose one where we were promised a prefect view of the sun set. Turns out it was a great spot, good food, great company and a perfect sunset. Brilliant last evening before Lavrion. Some piccies of the sun going down and a night time view of the harbour.

Yammas!
